Philippe Pallafray's furniture and sculptures embody the duality of nature and industry. Inspired by the peaceful surroundings of his daily life and by his passion for the past, Philippe combines an innovative mix of vintage furniture with unique materials from nature to create pieces that mix elegance and simplicity. Respecting the environment, he creatively blends wood, glass, metal and antlers that have been shed each year.
His workmanship and creative talents dovetail with his capacity to move freely between sculpture and functionality. He propels mid-century industrial objects into the 21st century, thus extending their life and bringing years of pleasure to their new owners.
His birds take flight to new horizons; his fish swim imaginary oceans ; his antlers evoke life's never-ending cycle.
